Summary This position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense using hiring authority in 5 U.S. Code § 9905. Veterans Preference: Veterans preference does not apply under this Direct-Hire Authority (DHA). This position is located in Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Procurement Services Division in Ft. Meade, Maryland. Responsibilities Performs a wide range of contracting procedures, methods and contract types, including competitive proposals, fixed price, and cost-type contracts. Formulates negotiation techniques to serve as a team leader over engineers, attorneys, industrial security specialist, contractors and/or cost analysts in the negotiation and settlement action.
