Content and Engagement Officer

About the position

The Content and Engagement Officer is responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating high-quality content and engagement initiatives that connect the community with Council’s priorities, services, and programs. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage high-quality content across digital and traditional channels, including Council’s website, social media platforms, newsletters, and campaign collateral, ensuring all communications are accurate, engaging and tailored to target audiences
• Support the design, delivery and evaluation of community engagement initiatives in accordance with Council’s Community Participation Plan, including the preparation of engagement materials, surveys, online consultation platforms, face-to-face engagement activities, and reporting on outcomes
