Contaminated Land Summer Student: Groundwater & Data

Environment Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand is offering a 3–4 month Summer Student Programme for current students or recent graduates seeking hands-on environmental experience. This full-time, fixed-term placement runs Nov 2026 to Feb 2027 across multiple teams, with a tailored onboarding and cohort learning experience.

You’ll support a contaminated land and waste team, assist groundwater monitoring, data collation and reporting, and help maintain the Listed Land Use Register.
