of the Directorate of Adult Mental Health within the North Yorkshire and York Locality
area of Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust.

Scarborough is a town on
the north coast of Yorkshire, England with a population of just over
67.000 people (2019 census). Scarborough is the largest holiday resort on the
Yorkshire coast.

This post has arisen due to
increased financial provision into the area.

The post covers the provision of medical
leadership to the Outer area of the Scarborough Community Mental Health Team (SICT).
The division between outer and central sections is purely for medical cover
purposes and follows an equitable division of local GP surgeries. The community
team continues to operate as one community team. The
job is split into 3 sessions of supporting
professional activities (SPA) and 7 sessions of
direct clinical care (DCC).
