Overview

We are seeking an experienced Specialist to join our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) department at Waikato Hospital. The role involves providing regional acute, elective and outpatient OMS services, including acute workload such as odontogenic infections and facial trauma, as well as elective procedures like dento‑alveolar, complex benign pathology and TMJ surgery. Cleft and orthognathic interest is beneficial but not required.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver complex head and neck oncology care and work closely with ORL Head and Neck Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Medical/Radiation Oncology. The OMS service uniquely performs both ablative procedures and microvascular free‑flap reconstruction.
