JOB DESCRIPTION
CONSULTANT CLINICAL NEUROPHYSIOLOGIST
37hr Tallaght University Hospital

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Professional Qualifications and/or experience
Registration as a Specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the Specialty of Clinical Neurophysiology.
The candidate must be fully trained, with demonstrable experience in an accredited training programme, in Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), needle Electromyography (EMG), Evoked Potentials (EPs) and Electroencephalography (EEG), including continuous video-EEG monitoring.
Experience in small fibre assessments, autonomic studies, intraoperative monitoring and nerve ultrasound techniques is also desirable.
