Job Description

The Conservator – Preventive, Hazards and Analysis undertakes a leading role in Collection Services tasks including the gallery maintenance program, stakeholder liaison, material and hazard identification, preventive conservation, rehousing and, documentation of end to end processes in compliance with the requirements of the Collection Management System, Digital Asset Management System and Corporate Document Management Systems. The conservator undertakes and documents conservation of a range of material types. The role requires a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, experience in materials conservation, and the flexibility to reprioritise work given competing priorities.
