Conservation Field Data Scientist — Kākāpō & Takahē

Department of Conservation in Invercargill is offering a fixed-term role supporting the Kakāpō and Takahē recovery projects. You will collect and manage scientific data, organise field samples, and assist with planning, analysis and reporting.

Working with conservation practitioners and external researchers, you’ll contribute to the long-term success of species recovery and practical conservation outcomes in Aotearoa.
