Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Component Engineer opportunity.
Job Responsibilities: Oversight of first of multiple large nuclear fluid pumps through design and manufacture. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, ensuring project teams meet scope, technical performance, and schedule expectations. Provide oversight to partners and subcontractors developing mechanical system designs for the reactor. Provide technical direction and oversight of supplier projects, working with the Contract Administrator and Supplier Project Engineer to ensure delivery of data and other deliverables, as well as coordination and performance of technical reviews of deliverables. Coordinate technical interfaces and handoffs between Company, partners, and interfacing project teams to enable cohesive design and fabrication strategies.
