Key Responsibilities
- Provide non‑clinical support to parents and caregivers of new babies, helping them manage challenges and decisions.
- Work collaboratively with Plunket Nurses, Kaiāwhina and other services to deliver wrap‑around support.
- Organise and conduct clinics or community events on Saturdays as required.
- Communicate clearly, empathetically and reassuringly with whānau.
- Work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong communication, empathy and reassurance skills.
- Passion for working with tamariki and their caregivers.
- Understanding and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and its application in front‑line roles.
- Hold a clean driver’s licence.
