Community Education Officer

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is seeking applications from individuals for the role of a permanent Community Education Officer within the Community Safety Department based at Service Headquarters in Carmarthen. The role will involve travelling across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire to deliver safety information in educational establishments.

The Role

This role involves engaging with educators and learners to provide safety education. This will entail visiting educational establishments to deliver engaging and informative fire safety sessions primarily through the medium of Welsh, but also in English when required.

This is a Welsh Essential role requiring the post holder to speak Welsh naturally and conversationally. The role involves delivering information through the medium of Welsh in Welsh medium schools.
