Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be required to fulfil some or all of the following principal responsibilities: Manage NTA events pipeline and comms grid; Provide support to internal communications functions; Draft press releases and website copy; Handle queries from members of the media; Assist with the ongoing management of social media accounts; Implement media and public affairs action plans for certain NTA projects and activities; Take the lead in organisation of media events such as press conferences, media briefings, photo-ops; Produce briefing documents on public transport matters for political figures, members of the public, stakeholder groups, media and others; Provide support for other Public Affairs functions; Freedom of Information; Parliamentary Questions; stakeholder engagement; Support the delivery of major transport projects including BusConnects, MetroLink and DART Expansion from a public affairs perspective; and Other tasks as required.
