Commodity Trader/Sales/BD（steel, coal, aluminium (electrolytic/oxide), nickel, copper, selenium, and oil & gas）

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Origination

• Identify, develop, and onboard new customers and suppliers across broader ASEAN region.
• Build a proprietary pipeline of trading opportunities in steel, coal, aluminium (electrolytic/oxide), nickel, copper, selenium, and oil & gas .
• Negotiate and structure physical commodity contracts (off-take agreements, long-term supply contracts, spot trades, and tolling arrangements).
• Attend industry conferences, trade fairs, and client meetings to expand the company’s brand presence in Southeast Asia.

Trading Execution & Risk Management

• Execute physical trades end-to-end: from price discovery, contract negotiation, logistics coordination, to settlement and delivery.
• Monitor market trends, freight rates, and regulatory changes affecting commodity flows in Malaysia and ASEAN.
