Commodity strategic purchaser

Role Overview

The Commodity Strategic Purchaser is responsible for end‑to‑end contractor performance management and strategic sourcing in line with agreed KPIs. The role coordinates complex contractor performance and strategic sourcing activities, improving operational efficiency and supporting the ongoing management of SGD’s supplier base. The purchaser reports to the Manager, Strategic Procurement and works collaboratively with Product Owner, Planning, Production, Warehousing and Quality Assurance teams to ensure alignment of procurement efforts towards serial production deliveries.

Responsibilities Develop strategies to enable on‑time delivery of outsourced/sub‑contracted manufacturing requirements. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
