Overview
Position Summary:
Responsible for developing and executing supply and/or vendor management strategies for specific commodities, which ensure appropriate product quality and enhance the company's ability to ship on time while reducing total cost and lead-time.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities: 
Responsible for the development for supply strategies for each assigned commodity.
Seeks solutions to minimize routine purchase transactions.
Plays a key role in strategic cost management initiatives.
Prepares analysis and plans for negotiations; leads in negotiation involving critical suppliers.
Develops contracts and supply agreements that protect the company from excess inventory, insufficient supply, unfavorable payment terms, hidden costs and supplier non-conformance.
