Job Description
RPS are working exclusively with a long standing, Lancashire based aerospace & defence tier 1 manufacturer who, after a period of sustained growth are looking to hire an experienced Buyer to join the procurement team
The Role;
* Identifying and sourcing suppliers
* Conducting supplier reviews including negotiating pricing and terms of business
* Conducting cost analysis
*Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk
* Develop and report on weekly KPIs to measure progress against company goals
Your experience;
* 3+ years in a buyer role
* Experience within a highly regulated manufacturing industry
* Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation and cost breakdown
* CIPS qualified (nice to have)
