Commodity Analyst – Petrochemical and Shipping
Locations:
Dubai/Shanghai/Singapore We are seeking a high-calibre Trading Analyst to join our global trading team, with responsibilities spanning both the oil tanker/shipping markets and key petrochemical value chains. This role is suited to candidates with strong fundamental market knowledge, modelling capability, and the ambition to progress into a future risk-taking trading position. Key Responsibilities Integrated Market Analysis (Tanker + Petrochemicals) Analyse market structure and dynamics across
oil tankers, liquid bulk shipping, olefins, and aromatics
, identifying major supply, demand, and freight drivers. Build, maintain, and refine
supply–demand models
for both major tanker freight sectors and petrochemical products such as
PTA, PX, Benzene, PP, and PE
. Monitor
