Commercial Development Manager (PPA) – Malaysia

A well-capitalised renewable energy developer with an operating portfolio across Southeast Asia is expanding its Malaysia platform significantly. The business has established project origination capabilities and is now scaling into utility-scale ground-mounted and floating solar — with the corporate PPA opportunity under Malaysia’s PRESS regime as its primary commercial focus.

This role is a senior individual contributor hire — the person responsible for bridging project origination and commercial offtake. The company has land banking support in place; what it needs now is someone who can build direct relationships with corporate off-takers, navigate the TNB and regulatory approval process, and move projects from pipeline to shovel-ready status.

This is a high-accountability role with meaningful performance upside and direct exposure to the leadership team.
