Combined Laboratory / X Ray Technologist I Redwater

Overview

As a Combined Laboratory and X‑Ray Technologist I, you will perform procedures in both the laboratory and diagnostic imaging, typically in rural sites. You will work as a member of an inter‑skilled team.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze biological specimens.
• Conduct X‑ray examinations, ECGs and report results.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and micropuncture.
• Maintain equipment and supplies.
• Execute quality control procedures as required.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X‑Ray Technology (CLXT).
• Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X‑Ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
• Experience in the last year with the Beaker and Radiant modules of Epic and Wellsky.
• Experience in the last year with phlebotomy.
