We’re looking for a Co-founder — Head of Technology
At Ex-Books, we’ve done the hard part: we’ve built and shipped four live SaaS products for African markets — without a CTO, without an engineering team, and without external capital. Using AI-assisted development tools, our founder built the entire stack from scratch.
Now we need someone to own it, scale it, and take it further than a non-technical founder ever could.

WHAT YOU'LL BE WALKING INTO
- Four live products on a shared stack: Supabase (PostgreSQL + auth), Lovable (frontend), Netcash + PayPal (payments), Tapfiliate (affiliate), PostHog + GA4 (analytics), Resend (email)
WHAT YOU'LL BE BUILDING
- Offline-first PWA rearchitecture for low-bandwidth, site-level use
- LLM fine-tuned on SA tax legislation for ComplyEasy (VAT Act, CIPC, COIDA, B-BBEE...
