CNC Cylindrical & Surface Grinding Machinist

Job Description The employee will be performing various job duties including but not limited to following:

CNC Universal Cylindrical and Manual Grinding and Surface Grinding
CNC Machine Operator and set up Technician: will include the set-up and monitoring of 1 or more machines on a priority basis. The technician will be required to move from machine to machine
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
Grinding mold components to expected high tolerances and assuring that all machined parts have met specifications, fits, pre-loads etc.
Verify dimensions of machined parts and products using micrometers, Vernier’s, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM) or other precision measuring instruments.
Working in a high precision environment and contributing to maintaining the specifications of design and quality
