Job summary
The Community Brain Injury Team (CBIT) is a supportive, motivated and experienced team of clinicians including, in addition to this speech and language therapy post, a physiotherapist, occupational therapist (also team lead), psychologist and rehabilitation worker. We work collaboratively towards person centred goals. We are supported by an admin hub. CBIT is a specialist service providing neuro rehabilitation to adults affected by brain injury. CBIT is provided by the NHS Kent and Medway Mental Health Trust. The Community Brain Injury Team's mission statement is to provide high quality neuro rehabilitation to adults affected by brain injury living in the community. Our service addresses the physical, psychological and social consequences of brain injury.
