<p><strong>Purpose of the Role</strong></p> <p>The purpose of this post is to undertake responsibility on a day-to-day basis for radiation protection in the Radiology Department in CHI, based out of Temple Street. The Environmental Protection Agency defines a Radiation Protection Officer as an individual who is technically competent in radiation protection matters relevant for a given type of practice to supervise or perform the implementation of the radiation protection arrangements. <strong>Radiological Protection Act, 1991 (Ionising Radiation) Regulations 2019 (S.I.
