Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time (18.75 hours per week) Band 6 Paediatric Research Nurse to join the Paediatric Diabetes research team at Addenbrooke's Hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. We are one of the UK's leading centres for immunotherapy research in type 1 diabetes, conducting pioneering clinical trials for children, young people and adults.
The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused clinical research studies investigating type 1 diabetes. They will play a key role in recruiting participants to, and delivering, clinical trials of immunomodulatory therapies in children and young people with type 1 diabetes.
The successful applicant will join a nationally recognised multidisciplinary research team at the forefront of immunotherapy research, helping to shape the future of type 1 diabetes prevention and treatment.
