<p><strong>Purpose of the Role</strong></p> <p>The Pain management Clinical Nurse Manager I role is pivotal within the multi-disciplinary approach to the management of acute and complex pain. The CNM I in children’s Pain will advise and direct clinical practice in pain management; act as a resource for pain management issues supported by the other Paediatric Pain Service members. Assist with developing and evaluating seamless effective Paediatric Pain Service, to promote excellence in patient care, and facilitate multidisciplinary teamwork.</p> <p></p> <p>There is a strong emphasis on regular patient contact for the purpose of assessment, monitoring and evaluation to ensure safety and efficacy of pain management therapies and techniques.
