Clinical Nurse Leader (Operating Room)

The ​Nursing​ demonstrates clinical expertise, strong leadership and collaborative skills in interactions with staff and members of the healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse Leader supports the Clinical Nurse Manager in leading, precepting and mentoring the nursing and midwifery staff as clinical expert in a unit/service. The ​Nursing​ is a key member of the interprofessional team and ensures that standards for nursing and midwifery care are adhered to at unit/service level while working within an assigned shift. The incumbent is accountable for shift coordination, patient flow, patient experience and resource allocation. The incumbent demonstrates problem solving, conflict management and service recovery skills to serve as a role model and change agent. The ​Nursing​ is professionally accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer.
