Clinical Nurse (Cardiology) - #Staff

We are seeking a **_Clinical Nurse_** in the Division of Cardiology at the Knoll outpatient location. This position supports cardiologists/electrophysiologists with outpatient clinical duties. The Clinical Nurse delivers comprehensive care, in collaboration with the provider and other members of the health care team, to the client population through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This role helps foster an environment that optimizes client wellbeing and outcomes.

**Specific Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Reviews physician EPIC-in-baskets on a daily basis, triaging appropriately.
+ Pends new medications and prescription refills in Epic for physician signature.
+ Assists with ordering patient lab and study tests as needed, and routing orders in EPIC to physicians for their co-signature.
+ Works with cardiology scheduling team to help schedule tests as needed.
+ Assists in completion of prior authorizations.
