Clinical Fellow (ST3+) in Stroke Medicine

Job Summary

We are looking for a clinical fellow doctor (registrar level) in stroke medicine at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. Part time applications will also be considered. The post is intended to provide support to the acute stroke service including hyperacute and acute stroke management and attending rapid access stroke clinics.

Main Duties of the Job

• Support to the hyperacute stroke unit (HASU) and acute stroke unit: attending consultant ward rounds and conducting own ward rounds
• Providing leadership to resident doctors on the stroke unit
• Attending stroke thrombolysis calls and referrals: gain experience and training in the hyperacute management of stroke, including interpretation of CT brain, CT angiog...
