Clinical Dietitian (18 month term) – NADMIN 04/26

Job Summary:

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for the assessment, education, and treatment of patients at the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre who require nutrition support. This includes collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Nutrition or equivalent.

• Completion of Dietetic Internship.

• Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, or eligibility to obtain.

• Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) required, or willing to obtain.

Job Duties:

• Work within the Registered Dietitian scope of practice as determined by the College of Dietitians of Ontario.

• Screen, prioritize and process client referrals using information obtained through the physician, laboratory reports and health records.
