Clinical Cardiac Technologist, Pretoria – REF# IMR034-CT

A specialist Cardiology practice in Pretoria is seeking to recruit an experienced Cardiac Technologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures, assisting in interventional cardiology procedures, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct cardiovascular diagnostic procedures including ECGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, carotid dopplers, and other non-invasive cardiac investigations
Assist in the Cath Lab with coronary angiograms, pacemaker procedures, TAVI, LAA Plug, CTO, and related interventions
Monitor patients during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including vital signs and clinical status
Perform blood draws, administer medications within scope of practice, and prepare patients for procedures
