Clerk of Work - Mechanical & Electrical (M&E)

Job Description

• To supervise and monitor daily construction activities and place quality of work done in top priority.
• To ensure all works carried out and material used strictly in accordance to specification and required standard.
• To record and assess works done by main contractor and subcontractors on site and report to superior and project consultants any irregularity or works that are not satisfactory.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with contractors and consultants. Participate in factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, and overall testing and commissioning procedures for M&E systems to ensure functionality and safety.
• Promote safety awareness on site and ensure that all M&E work practices comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• To verify site progress reports/documents submitted by the contractor.
• To witness and verify monthly progress claims submitted by the contractor.
