Cleansing Operative with Driving Duties

The Role: As a member of the Operational Services Team the postholder will be required to:Provide of an effective and efficient refuse collection & street cleansing and Civic amenity service throughout the assigned catchment areaIf required to undertake the role and associated key duties of the post of driver, the post holder will also be responsible for the vehicle and its passengers in compliance with all Council policies, statutory regulations and Health and Safety requirementsThe post holder will assume other delegated duties appropriate to the post reasonably assigned by managementHours of work: 37 hrs per weekRequirements: Essential Criteria:2 years' experience of driving a large vehicle eg tonnesPrevious employment experience of keeping official recordsPrevious employment experience in Waste Collection/Street Cleansing or a relevant related field1 year team leader experience in a similar roleHold a full current driving C licence (up to 26 tonnes)Hold a Driver CPCRate of Pay: £ p...
