Overview

A cleaner's job is to keep a clean and sanitary environment by performing a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning: Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing
• Sanitizing: Disinfecting surfaces, toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs with bleach and other disinfectants
• Trash removal: Emptying trashcans and recycling bins
• Supply management: Restocking cleaning supplies and replacing liners
• Equipment maintenance: Setting up, stocking, and maintaining cleaning equipment
• Health and safety: Adhering to sanitation guidelines and company policies
• Reporting: Reporting any maintenance issues or cleaning equipment malfunctions to the supervisor

Qualifications

• No experience required
• At least high school graduate
