Job Description
Summary The Community Living Center (CLC) Nurse Manager (NM) functions as a clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. The NM assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care based on age specific components, and assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction by overseeing the CLC program. Responsibilities The CLC NM provides leadership and supervision for the nursing staff of the long-term care and hospice units within the SFVA CLC. The NM ensures delivery of compassionate, evidence-based care that supports comfort, dignity, symptom management, and psychosocial-spiritual needs for Veterans and their families.
