Job Description
Job Summary:
The position of Class A Welder includes, but is not limited to, production welding of pressure vessels and piping systems. Responsibilities will include the use of various hand tools and equipment to aid in the fabrication of custom products from engineering drawings to produce pressure parts that meet code specifications in a high‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform all operations in the shop necessary to fabricate pressure vessels, pressure piping systems, skid frames and structural components (Carbon and Stainless Steels)
- Use of engineering drawings, spool sheets, piping isometrics, etc., for laying out of the job, fit‑up and welding preparation of all components.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, MCAW, SAW)
