Job Description

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe is recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) drivers for an upcoming contract with one of our long-established industrial customers.
We have opportunities for both day drivers and trampers, with work expected to last for at least three months. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for regular work with the flexibility to choose the type of work that best suits them.

This is specialist work involving the transport of steel products using extendable (trombone) trailers, so previous experience is essential.

What we’re looking for
Class 1 (Category CE) Licence

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Previous experience operating extendable (trombone) trailers an advantage.

Experience transporting steel products

Confidence securing loads using chains, straps and tensioning equipment
