A Day in the Life

• Manage an active portfolio of claims files from first notice of loss through to resolution
• Engage third party adjusters and assist with conducting thorough coverage analysis and damage assessments within your delegated authority limits
• Establish and adjust reserves with sound documentation and negotiate settlements within authority limits
• Manage loss funds, request payments, and reconcile general ledgers in accordance with financial controls
• Drive appropriate settlement outcomes across various lines of business including property, liability, directors and officers, legal expense, crime, abuse and program business
• Prepare timely reports for carrier partners
• Collaborate with the Claims Manager and insurers, escalating files appropriately within the team’s structured framework
