Claims Technician

Reporting to the Claims Manager, the Claims Technician is a core member of HUB International’s claims team. The role involves managing a portfolio of property, liability, and specialty line claims files end‑to‑end, applying investigative skills, coverage knowledge, and a commitment to service to resolve claims efficiently and accurately.

A Day in the Life

• Manage an active portfolio of claims files from first notice of loss through to resolution.
• Engage third‑party adjusters and assist with conducting thorough coverage analysis and damage assessments within authorized limits.
• Establish and adjust reserves with sound documentation and negotiate settlements within authority limits.
• Manage loss funds, request payments, and reconcile general ledgers in accordance with financial controls.
