The role
This role will be based in the Santam Re & International business unit, based in Cape Town, but supports the claims function for the buying function of the Santam Limited Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination, oversight, and optimisation of the reinsurance claims recovery processes and practices across the Group’s local and international insurance operations.
What will you do?
The role requires an experienced technical reinsurance professional capable of managing complex claims portfolios, coordinating with multiple business units, overseeing reinsurance recoveries across proportional and non-proportional treaty schemes, and strengthening operational governance across the Group.
