Civil/Structural Department Manager

Job Description
One of Insight Global’ s industrial services partners is looking for an experienced Civil/Structural Engineering Manager to join their team. Right now, the client does not have a department manager over their Civil/Structural discipline. This individual will be taking over the Civil/Structural team, inheriting two Engineers and two Designers and will eventually be expected to also grow their team. Each team supports anywhere from 5-10 onshore projects at any given time, with most of them being brownfield (some greenfield as well). Although this individual will be managing a team, they will also be very hands on and considered a working manager.

When an RFP comes in for a potential project, as the Manager, they will review the RFP and work with projects managers to develop the man hour estimates for the Civil/Structural discipline.
