Citrus production manager

Citrus Production Manager – Porterville, Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities: Manage a 160-hectare citrus production unit and oversee all orchard operations. Coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient and productive farm operations. Lead, support, and supervise production teams to achieve operational targets. Plan and allocate resources to ensure best farming practices are followed. Monitor crop quality, productivity, and operational performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety, SIZA, Global G. A. P., and crop management standards. Assist with budgeting, administration, and workforce management. Oversee new orchard developments and the management of young orchards.

Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of citrus production and orchard management. Experience leading teams and managing farm operations. Good financial and administrative skills. Strong p...
