An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Child Protection Chair to support Gloucestershire's ongoing commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.

The Role

You will:

* Chair Initial Child Protection Conferences

* Lead Review Child Protection Conferences

* Ensure effective challenge and scrutiny of safeguarding practice

* Promote the voice of the child throughout conference processes

* Support quality assurance and best practice across the service

Working Arrangements

* Initial Child Protection Conferences conducted face-to-face

* Review conferences attended in person where required

* Team meetings held face-to-face

* Predominantly home-based working outside of these commitments
