Job Description
This posting is to fill a full-time vacancy within our Agency.
Compensation includes a competitive, employer paid benefits package, including extended health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance; OMERS pension; 4 weeks of vacation to start; plus float / wellness days.
In addition to the base salary, Child Care Workers also earn the $3.00 per hour PSW wage enhancement.
The Child Care Worker (CCW) is responsible for the daily care, guidance, support and direct supervision of the youth residing in a staffed resource unit. The CCW creates a physically safe and emotionally nurturing environment designed to assist the youth in learning to cope and function positively, both in the home and in the community.
