Job Description
Summary This position serves as the Chief of Staff in the Office of Chief Counsel. Location will be determined upon selection. The Chief of Staff will operate as advisor on all matters involving recruitment of attorneys, budget, retention, and logistical technical support within the Office of Chief Counsel. Responsibilities The major duties of the Chief of Staff position include, but are not limited to, the following: Exercises full supervisory authority over support personnel. Acts as training coordinator for the Office of Chief Counsel. Maintains databases. Coordinates and advises on all matters involving recruitment for attorneys and support staff within the Office of Chief Counsel. Represents the Chief Counsel and the Deputy Chief Counsel in meetings with Bureau and Department of Justice officials and with external Government (national, State and local) and non-governmental officials agencies and organizations.
