Chief Engineer (C/e) Tanker - Lco2 Carrier

Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on an LCO2 tanker trading in/around Norway. Take full responsibility for the engine department, safe operations and maintenance of all machinery and systems onboard.
**Permanent contract, follows a 4/4 weeks on/off rotation schedule.**
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Lead and supervise the engine department and engine room crew
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of main engine, auxiliaries and all related systems
- Plan and carry out maintenance and repairs according to company and class standards
- Monitor fuel and lube oil consumption and maintain records
- Ensure compliance with SMS, flag, class and international regulationsCooperate closely with the Master and deck officers for safe cargo and vessel operations
