Job Description
Lead the Tŝideldel First Nation as the Chief Administrative Officer in beautiful British Columbia. Oversee programs and ensure effective governance within the community.
Reporting to Chief and Council, the CAO guides community initiatives while fostering relationships among department heads and staff. This role requires a strong leader skilled in strategic planning, governance, and financial stewardship. You will administer programs, uphold policies, and ensure transparency in operations, all while supporting the values of the Tŝilhqot’in Nation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership across departments, ensuring clear goals
• Advise Chief and Council on relevant matters
• Develop and implement policies and bylaws
• Administer budgets and ensure financial accountability
• Maintain effective community and government relations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s preferred
• 7+ years of management experience in leadership roles
