UMBC Transit provides extensive fixed route bus service to the UMBC campus and the surrounding communities. Primary locations serviced include: Technology Research Center (TRC), UMBC South Campus - Bwtech South, Freshmen satellite parking lot, BWI MARC/Amtrak train station, Halethorpe MARC train station, downtown Arbutus, Catonsville, Baltimore Inner Harbor and more. This service extends to weekends with additional access to Route 40 (Baltimore National Pike) business district (Wal-Mart, international grocery markets, various shopping centers) and Arundel Mills Mall. 

Of special interest are the weekday/weekend connections to downtown Arbutus (East Drive, OCA Mocha), restaurants, R/C Hollywood Cinema 4, Village Junction Bakery and much more.
