Job Description
The Chairperson: Disciplinary and Incapacity Enquiries is expected to independently chair disciplinary and incapacity in a fair, impartial, and procedurally compliant manner, ensuring consistency of outcomes and adherence to applicable labour legislation and Massmart policies. The role is also required to safeguard organisational justice, mitigates legal & reputational risk, reduces financial exposure arising from prolonged suspension, and strengthens confidence in our Employee Relations processes.
Responsibilities Independent Chairing of Disciplinary and Incapacity Enquiries Chair disciplinary and incapacity enquiries independently, impartially and professionally. Conduct enquiries in line with Massmart policies, guidelines, and applicable labour legislation. Ensure no prior involvement in investigation or case preparation for matters being chaired.
