Job Description

Manage the Central Animal Facility with a focus on animal health and compliance. Oversee operational efficiency, staff supervision, and technical services in support of respected research initiatives.
As the Operations Manager, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the ethical treatment and welfare of research animals. You will focus on facility management, training staff, and maintaining compliance with various regulations. Your role will require interaction with researchers and regulatory bodies while supervising the execution of animal care programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with animal care regulations
• Supervise daily operations and staff assignments
• Advise on safety and ethical issues in animal research
• Conduct training for staff on best practices
• Maintain facility equipment and supply inventory
Requirements:
• 10+ years in animal health technician fields
• 5+ years in management roles
• AHT or RVT certification required
