Job Summary
Somerset – A co‑educational independent day and boarding school located in Wellington, Somerset for pupils aged 3 to 18. Catering for 800 students and teachers with 220 boarders.
Contract: Full Time, Permanent.
Salary: 12.75 per hour.
Hours: 40 per week, 5 days a week within a 7‑day operation. The role is a term‑time plus contract, working 52 weeks a year and includes free on‑site parking.
No split shifts, no late nights, and a great work/life balance are emphasised.
Role Requirements (Task & Responsibilities)
- Serve clients during Breakfast, lunch or dinner service.
- Help set up the dining room for service.
- Prepare food for service, following good hygiene and safety practices and to the standard specified.
- Ensure the kitchen is left clean and tidy to the required standard of the Chef Manager or to the hygiene standards set by the company / client.
